Oh, check out that NYC casino. I saw an episode of Rides where they built up this sick Checker cab with a blown big block that looked really nice. They said its parked out front

Nice...I'm jealous! I went twice 2 years ago, once with the gf and another for a tournament. There's so much to do, but here's some of my favorites:

Zumanity. It's a Cirque du Soleil show at NY NY that's erotic, funny and amazing. Also heard "O" at the Bellagio is great, too...we want to se that next time we go out.

Hoover Dam. Rent a car for the day and go check it out. It's one of those things you don't really appreciate 'til you see it in person. Do the tour, too.

Helicopter Tour. This might be my favorite. We did a 4 hour tour that went over Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, out to the Grand Canyon and back to Vegas and over the strip. It was expensive (about $230 p/p), but absolutely worth it. Flying over the rim of the GC was awesome, and seeing pics of it does it no justice at all. They also do longer tours that land in the GC and give you lunch, etc, so there's a few options. Highly recommended.

Red Rock Canyon. If you like hiking and that sort of thing, check out RRC. It's certainly not as grand as the GC, but we liked it. It's also a much closer drive than the GC. We went the same day we went to Hoover Dam, and wish we had more time there.

Dinner at the Stratosphere. It's fine dining and by far the best view in LV. I'll be honest, it wasn't the best 'fine dining' I've ever had, but the food was good and combined with the view it was worth it. Probably around $150 for 2 (at least that's what it was back then). The restaurant revolves slowly so you get a 360 view. You can also just go to the observatory at the top and do the rides and stuff, but there are ususally long lines to get up there. Eating at the restaurant is the quickest way up because you skip all the lines.

If you're into strip clubs, Emerald Gardens FTW.

The gf and I went the exact same time of year that you're going, and the weather was perfect. It was about 85 and sunny every day with 0 humidity. Hopefully you'll have the same.

I highly recommend Freemont Street at night. We had a great time. Look for the bar with the football drinks.

That's funny, my gf and I are going from the 18 to the 22nd, haha. We're renting a car to go out to the Grand Canyon, then taking a helicopter ride. Gonna have lunch on the canyon floor or something. She has it all planned out. My gf's Aunt just went and bought back some pamphlets on what to do out there. And I'm really into the helicopter ride thing, so I made sure we're going on one, lol. There was something about taking a Hummer there and back. It was this huge thing where we would have a "special" lunch out there and they were gonna take us on a boat ride on the Colorado River. It was like $300 a person, but we looked more into it and there were a bunch of extra fees that brought it up to over $400 a person. So we said eff that. We're just going to rent a car and take a Copter ride. Gonna check out the Dam too.

The venetian, we went to the wolfgang puck restaurant inside at around 8pm one night, just weird walking around in there at that time & the food was awesome.

Funny how I didn't get an invite though, most hotels offer internet access, I could've been working

Where are you staying if you don't mind my asking?

I stayed at NY NY. Place was fun as hell.... you can't get everything done in one trip. I'm going back in Oct...staying at the Flamingo. I like clubs, so i hit as many as possible. I was in the Playboy club during the MTV awards in Sept and got interviewed and put on TV, was def something i'll remember for a long time. You'll have a blast.

(make sure not to bring a girl...california girls dig our "accent")
