How come you cant smell a booger when its in your nose, but when its like on the tip of your nose or on your finger you can smell it? Am i the only one thats ever wondered about this??

I think the reason is when its in your nose, your nose is used to the scent, but once you pick it outta your nose and breath, your senses pick up oxygen, becoming used to the air without it, and then when you sniff it, its as if it was never in there. I think we need to have the mythbusters pull this one off
