update on jake - NJFBOA - Home of New Jersey's Camaros and Firebirds

life is hectic for an egyptian. here are some recent happenings in the life of the big-headed one.

1. tomorrow i take the LSAT. pray for me, and if you don't believe in a higher diety, wish me luck or something. i'll be done by 5 so call me and celebrate with me. ps- i'm making out with the first mildly attractive woman that walks out of that exam at the same time as i do. thats how excited i will be.

2. i blew the motor in my camaro on my way home from church today. i was cruising in 6th gear doing 60 and i heard a pop, motor revved past 4 grand, and more white smoke then a dave matthews concert came out of my tailpipe before i killed the motor. this is 100% my fault for not fixing the running lean issue as soon as possible. a free fix will now become a new motor. i can has a LS7?

3. some of you may know that my mother has a Porsche Cayenne. Well now you can say that in past tense. Some guy approached my dad and decided he wanted our car specifically and his offer made it perfectly clear that he wanted it more than we did. we no longer own that gas guzzler. who knew there were people out there dying for 13mpg cars.

4. my mother has just discovered her new favorite car, my saturn. she won't give it back and hinted at me to use some of the porsche money to buy myself a new pickup. which i don't want since i'd rather just have my saturn back. this won't end anytime soon. so in the past week i went from having two cars to having none. good way to kick off the summer! (that wasn't sarcasm, my camaro is getting a new motor while i have no job (porsche fund) and i don't have to pay for a drop of gas for a long time)

what am i gonna do about it? well next week my father is going overseas to the motherland to visit family. i'll have his convertible to drive for those two weeks. if the camaro doesn't have a solution by then, i'm gonna head over to my buddies used car dealership and find myself another saturn on teh cheap. i'll keep you all posted.

ps- this rant (not so much a rant, just a current events posting that started as me wanting to tell you guys about my motor blowing and now look how far its gone) was done under the influence of prescribed sleep aids. they make you feel drunk minus teh poor inhibitions.

thanks. i've been especially happy lately. a few other things i shoulda included:
1. i hit up the gym 5 days a week to whip my butt back into shape.

2. i acquired quite a library with my amazon card and i am gonna get started on my summer reading ASAP

3. i'm starting to get involved with a community service program called midnight run. look it up and pester Justin if you guys are down to do it, i'll do all the organization as i already do it for my church.

4. this summer is gonna be great. gonna do alot of reading, alot of hangin out, and alot of service. i'll post up about the midnight run later

See Jake - the unstable one hasn't seen you in so long that he actually doesn't remember who you are. You need to get out more....which I suppose won't be as difficult once you take the LSAT.

friday nights are bad for me cause i hold a BBQ/Bible study friday nights at my place for the college and highschoolers. its all good, we'll rap later. i'm about to hit the bed and get sleep

probably not. i don't like coybl. i started in coybl when i was about 16 and its too much drama and fighting for me. people take it far too seriously. i vowed to never play for that league again, although i may end up coaching again

i've put less than 2k miles on my car in two years. not to mention a month of daily driving. i've been a true mod for a while now.
