Hella 165mm housings with 100 watt bulbs w/pics (56k no go)

Finally got around to snapping some pics of converting from Sealed Beam headlamps to new headlight housings and w/ H4 bulbs. These are the Hella Freeform housings w/ hella premium 100 watt H4 bulbs. All that was required was an adapter to convert to the H4 bulbs and I can honestly say its a huge difference. I wish I took some before pics, but oh well. The last pic is simply showing the difference between the Hella Housings and Silverstar sealed beam housings. Looks so much better in my opinion. I also leave the option open to go to HID's with the same housings, but gonna save up some more until I do that. I am also using silverstars in the fog lights, which I've had hit and miss quality with. Until them, I am very very satisfied with these. Please excuse the so so pics, my cam sucks at night photos.

http://www.rallylights.com/hella/165mm_lo.asp , item number HL21100N. $109.19. You also get 65 watt bulbs extra with them because they just come with it standard in the housings. I called when I ordered and they were very helpful.

I've always liked the looks of those housings (when off), but am not a fan of the blue hue light they give off at night. Do those particular ones shine blue, or is the color introduced by the little bulb that goes next to the headlight (I forget what they call them, driving lights or something...)

I was actually surprised how blue they look in the pics, but they really are just a bright white light. My camera isnt the best, so Im gonna grab my GF's to try and snap some better pics.

BTW, I was wearing a very bright blue shirt so you are seeing that in the housing pics. The bulb is also clear and not blue.

I did the H4 conversion on the IROC, HUGE difference! My original set was off ebay and I bought a harness by painless off of Jegs. The Jap brand off ebay were **** and I then bought new housings from JC Whitney and I have no complaints.

Not so great, but you can kind of see the difference. The high beam are the JC Whitney ones and the regular are the kind I got off ebay.
