6AL has a rev limiter built in and comes with vibration mount isolator things. I had the 6A in my 383 iroc and i loved it, but I also had the MSD pro buillet distributor which was a direct plug in to it. I didnt care about the rev limiter really and for the mounts, i bought little rubber body washer grommet things at Pepboys and mounted the box with those and it was just as good.

Yup...the 6AL has "Soft Touch" rev control, meaning when you hit the programmed rev limiter, it starts dropping spark to different cylinders to keep the RPM from climbing higher. Comes with "pills" to program the rev limiter to 5,000 6,000 or 7,000 RPM - but you can buy more pills in 100 RPM increments if you want to set the limiter at say, 5,500 RPM.
