ebaymotors question need some help

I have never put up a sale on ebay or ebaymotors. I have an account. They ask for a credit card and checking account number. Does ebay charge you to post up a car? All i want to do is post up my 92 Firebird with a buy it now price. If they do charge you what else do they charge you for? Add any comments that may help me that i may have not asked.

Yea, and it can be high. Thats where ebay makes their money. I put up a few cars on ebay and if you do pics, and a few other things, it ends up being like $150, plus I think if its through Paypal for payment, they hit you with a 3% fee on the final selling price, which can be several hundred dollars.

Oh, and a long time ago on ebay, if you put a car up and paid the $150~200 listing fee and the car didnt sell, they refunded the fee to you. Not anymore, if it doesnt sell, you gotta pay the 150~200 again to put it up.

Yeah, it used to be that way until people were just advertising their car up their for free and selling it off of their system and canceling the auction.

Ebay has changed their listing fees for cars so it's more of a flat $40 fee. You get a couple of free pictures but can add more. Then you pay extra for Buy It Now, Reserve, Featured Auction, etc. I just ran the 70 on Ebay and it was $86 but I paid extra for some of the packages. If it doesn't sell, you can relist it once for free I think. I would start with local stuff and free websites first.
