hey guys,
my car hasnt been on the road since early july. due to mine and my friends' conflicting schedules, we couldnt take care of the car until today. we found the exact problems..the intake bolts actually came loose a little bit, and oil soaked up the gaskets, which was causing the smoke under the hood (not what i thought to be brake fluid in the header wrap).
the smoke from the tail pipes was the head gasket on the driver side. switched them both out..the job is / was a pain in the ass. tomorrow morning we are doing the timing on the ignition, putting the serpentine belt back on, firing her back up and spending the rest of the day cruising around in a camaro
finally gonna have my car back on the road tomorrow
