Had 27-11.5x15 QTP's on the back and they stuck out 1" , gave the same traction but slowed the car by 2-3 mph. I swithchd the front from Moroso racing tires to the pep boys in order to meet the "dot" requirements for Street Class. I didn't see any changes from the front tire switch since the tire diameters were the same. I also deep stage so front tire changes have almost no impact on rollout.

LT1, 383 stroker, 4 bolt mains, crowler forged crank and rods. Rapidmotors stage 2 heads, Joe Overton cam. Installed dished pistons on last rebuild to run pump gas. Lost about 25-30 hp over previous engine due to the pistons. I think it now has 10:1 compression and runs nicely on WAWA 93 octane fuel. Ported intake, bigger injectors, fuel pump, etc. Turbo 400 auto with reverse manual valve body, moser 12 bolt spool, 31spline axles, 411 gears. Bracket tune (LT1 edit on the rich side). Hooker headers, moroso oil pan, underdirve pully and of course kept the opti spark.

I can take it to 7000rmp when necessary. I usually shift it at 5500 for bracket racing. The car wasn't raced last season and most likley won't be used this year either. When it is used I usually double enter and run every weekend. That accounts for the 400 passes per season.

Well nothing wrong, cause you're dialing 12.0,,,, (whopping the throttle at 1,000 feet!)
I spin the DRs so bad I can't even put it under serious boost until I'm in 3rd gear. The one time I tries I broke the posi! My runs were leaving soft, 2.0+ 60s, and short shifting until 3rd gear, then mashing it! ETs were 12.4s and 124 and still putting hard thru the traps.
honestly, I think it's got a 10 ( high 10 ) at 127-128 MPH in it. Low 10's aren't going to happen until the blower gets upgraded. The goal is 10.0s in the 133-134 range so i don't need to do all the ET/speed equipement of going faster. It's just a street car you know.

Mostly Numida (I live exactly 1 mile from the track, and work there) or maple grove. Years ago when I lived in Langhorn I raced at E-town allot, but not recently, that's about a 150 miles away from home. Haven't raced at Acto in probably 8-10 years.

I'm running street at Raceway and Maple Grove. Don't plan to make Atco this year. I haven't been back to Atco since last March when the little pony made it to the winners circle. May 31st will be decision day on where to finish the season. Depends on where I'm at in the points race. I will be running my mustang again this season because it's a bit cheaper to race. I will most likely loose my job by the end of this year. Can you guess for which major pharmaceutical company I work for? If you guessed Pfizer you guess wrong. Bradenton 2010?
John, whomping the gas at 1000' shaves a lot of mph but not ET. Need the brake pedel to do that. I'm to the point where I can hold and shave 1.5 in the Formula and .10 in the Mustang. God willing my knees will be fully working this year. I was going to borrow a box and run Super Pro in the bird off the button. Will have to see how I footbrake.

I'm undecided what I will run this year, Probably not points, I want to build something with an auto and maybe run pro. Problem is that the top guys at Numidia are so consistent you can't afford to miss many weekends, I'm guaranteed to miss at least 5 weekends due to attending NHRA events and others such as superchevy, Our Nat's
Numidia does have “Friday night Street legal drags”, it has a payout and you can run points in the classes as well. I'm thinking of doing that, and it should be less rounds , and less need to compete every weekend. If I start running consistent I'll just into some of the weekend footbrake money races.
I'll see what happens when the car gets back together, and how long it takes to get it and the driver dialed-in!
Does look like Maple Grove is having some type of Street Wars event happening once a month on Saturdays. I want to get details and look into that. MG is about 60-70 miles from me, just sucks towing up and down the mountains!

Yeah yeah yeah... I hear ya on the "student" loan. Normal I get $2K to put into the car. But The Carol has cut my budget citing the "econ no me, econ no you". I'm putting in an appeal to Obama for some bailout money for the car, because unlike the banks, I'll spend it!!! Suspension, gears, front wheel skinnies, chrom-molly K member, loom-in-um drive shaft.... but I'll still be aways from 10s. And from what I see of you guys, I'm not inclined to go faster only to break parts faster!!! bahahahahhahaha

The optical sensor is still used, which between the two parts is probably the more reliable but still opti. Have you considered running a megasquirt or FAST setup?

Well I would beef up the rotor by ditching the rivets or get the LTCC setup. And then not spin it that high. Why 6800?
