if i were to sell my car..
how much would i get for my car. Its a 1996 trans am 6 speed with t-tops and a charcoal leather interior. the clutch will need to be changed soon. it has 98000 miles on it. the front bumper has spider web cracking, and the drivers side door has some scratches from the previous owner. its black with 17 inch black zr1 wheels. the rear tires are 315 nitto 555r drag radials. the fronts are normal tires. it has a borla exhaust, an slp CAI, lt4 intake elbow. the car comes with edelbrock shorty headers. it has a 255 walbro fuel pump. and soon to be injectors with 30 k on them. any ideas? i am trying to sell the car to buy another nova!
thanks
Jim

$4000-$4500, maybe a little more...taking into consideration the wheels and depending on how bad the scratches are.

Like posted above it hard to sell fbodies nowadays, especially Lt1's (seeing you can find lsx's for around the same price). Your best bet is to wait until the weather starts getting warmer...these cars move better in the spring time.

yeah def, im still on the fence about it. i already listed the car up on craiglist and i have my eye on another car. this is a hard decision! im trying to weigh out the pros and cons of everything. i'm kinda leaning towards keeping the T/a especially the way the economy is right now and also if i do more work to it during the summer i can probably squeeze more money out of it

i would hold firm at 4k as a bottom line. lsx's are going for 5k but theyre AUTO. being your a six speed bird car i can see you getting 5k.
the cheapest lsx bird six speed you can grab with decent mileage will be around 7500 still. gives you a nice buffer room between 4 and 7500 to offer your car for. depending upon condition id put it up for 5750. if you get it great. if they chew you down you have a bit of cushion to give up till where your still getting a nice price

I'll buy it off of you, for all the cash I have. Which is, well, yeah, nothing. College kid here, you know.
