Quantity of Gear Oil

Does anyone know the typical quantity of gear oil in a ten bolt?

8.2, 8.5, or 7.5? GM lists the capacity at 2 quarts but I'd fill it to just under the hole.

I'm pretty sure it is the 8.5. Just want to be sure that I have enough on hand for this weekend, so 2 quarts should be enough. Thanks!
