Cant get wiper blades off!!!

Any tricks to getting the wiper blades off or do I really have to go to the store and buy a pair of needle nose? Yes, sadly I don't have a pair.
Wiper Blades are held on by the little springs and star washer and reg pliers just wont do the trick.
