SS hit the dyno...

...and put down 425rwhp. Not too bad considering im still using stock LS6 heads intake and ported TB. A FAST 92mm intake/TB will be coming this summer.

I was just thinking that the Ls6 crate motor puts out 450 bhp, and subtract 15% for drive loss, so your starting with about 380 hp to the ground without mods (except ls6 heads and 10.5 compression)

So, you have around 380+
ewp....5 hp
Headers...15 hp
Ls6 intake/TB....10 hp
Cam....I would hope you make no less than 25 more hp at peak with a Ms3

So my estimate is a conservative 435. I guess it may come down to how the dyno reads out, but Vinny was tuned on the same dyno and made 400 hp with a smaller cam and a few less mods.

405 hp through the Z06 drivetrain. I believe the f body is less efficient.

you do realize the ls6 motor is rated at 405hp... thats not a rwhp rating, so drivetrain doesnt even come into play. I dont know where you came up with 450.

He came up with that power because The LS6 probably makes over 405 hp. My 02 WS6 was rated 325hp at the crank and it dynoed 315rwhp bone stock! Add the 15% in for drivetrain loss and my motor was putting out 362hp @ the flywheel!! Just about every LS1 F-body owner I know when they dynoed there car stock it put out alot more then what GM said it would. The LS1 Vettes were pretty much dead on with what they dyno. I wouldnt be surprised if a stock LS6 out of a vette dynoes 20 more rwhp in a Camaro. Wouldnt surprise me one bit.

I dunno, I'd think the two added flex points for the half shafts in the Vette rear would eat up more power than the solid rear in the F-Body.
