Who does Paint on the side?

Looking for a capable member who does paint on the side. The car is nothing special, my dads 96 Camry..it is navy blue in color.

Not looking for the whole car to be painted..rather just the driver side from the driver door back (driver door, driver back door, quarter panel), and also the roof. the front of the car looks fine, as does the passenger side and trunk area.

the cars clear coat is peeling in those areas, and now the navy blue is turning to a sun-faded purple. its just looks crappy.. im not looking for anything special, just someone who paints on the side, and can do a fair job for a cheap price.

not looking for any bodywork, just a spray and some clear. it is a 15 year old DD, and just trying to make it look more presentable for him.

please let me know if your interested, or know someone who is.

I'd give Summit Rod & Custom or RPM Resto a shout. SRC is closer.

Sounds like what you're looking for is a cheaper paint job, you should check out a Maaco. The one in Delran actually can paint very well. I had a truck done for around $700 including tax, fees etc in single stage polyurethane. They offer cheaper systems that will get the car in fresh paint under $500. If you want to see pictures of the paintjob I can post them up, but I have seen numerous cars done from this particular Maaco and it's really phenomenal for the price. The turnaround time is really quick as well, I dropped it off on a Friday, picked it up on a Monday.

maroman - i saw your car at the whiskey car show on saturday...it looks great in person. its really hard to believe that was a maaco job. i waited for a few min by the car, but didnt see owner near by...hope to chat next time..

the thing that deters me from maaco is that i only want a portion of the car painted, not the whole thing. the entire front ends paint looks great, just want thr driver side and roof to match that...

again, just looking for someone who does paint on the side. not looking for a high end shop (sponsors, etc). it doesnt need to be perfect, just better than it is.

If you only get a portion of the car done, it will NEVER match the 15 year old GOOD paint. For a little extra, having the entire car done at the same time will really look much better. Just my

it really does look pretty good... i still need to polish and wax it.
my whole family went, my mom drove that car, my dad had the 67 firebird next to it, and i had my vette there parked with a couple of new grand sports and a 50th anni.

Getting a portion of the car painted to match wouldn't make too much sense in this situation in my opinion. The only reason to do sections and then have it blended is if you've got a fairly new paint job. I don't think doing it in spots would even blend and match properly, or even really save any money

the front end is new paint from a minor accident a few years ago. so the hood, front bumper, and both front fenders, are new paint. the passenger side looks fine as well...

seems theres some confusion, not looking to spot paint the missing clear spots. i want the the entire driver door, rear door, rear quarter, and roof painted. those are the problem areas.

its hard to explain that i dont care if its perfect... this is just to improve its current state. and to be honest, my dad is not a picky guy. it just looks like **** as it sits right now. that should clarify things.

When painting whole panels the paint still needs to be blended to the neighboring panels that don't need paint.
