Yeah you are just going to have to find an adapter to go from the throttle body to the elbow. I have a couple elbows with holes in them if you want one. After the elbow you just need the piece to attach to the maf then maf to cai. So yeah, cai and piece from tb to elbow. I have the rest.

Lt1 intake wont fit, we have a bunch of fuse boxes and wiring harness where they dont. You might be able to relocate the battery and coolant overflow, then run a cai to that fender area.

...or acquire hvac skills and make your own low profile lid.

Yeah smash wanted to do that. You can relocate the electrical nightmare too, just takes some skills and some balls. I would just do like pictured above though, simple and effective. Could still HVAC it.

oh gotcha. but that still doesnt eliminate my hood problem. or are you implying build my intake so it sits down in the bumper, and then ram air it?

You could try making the ram air box that I did, but you would need to delete a bunch of stuff and idk how it would fit on the lt1 front end. The way to fit the lid under a 93-97 hood is to cut down the air box that the lid clamps to. Instead of cutting down an airbox, you could do a variation of what I did and fabricate a ram air/lid mount thats low profile. You wouldnt need to go as extreme as I did with a box all the way to the front, but copy the FTRA or SSRA scoop infront of the radiator.

my front end doesnt have much stuff in it. No washer Fluid, No plastics under bumper, no bumper support, no styrofoam thing. its pretty empty. no fog lights either.

you think the filter style CAI down in the bumper would be a better intake performance wise than a Lid?

That would be an entirely huge waste of money.

You need a cowl hood, new intake, distributor, wires, fuel system, etc.

Its not a great swap.
