trailer tires

What are you guys running for trailer tires. I need 205/75r15. I need to get something cheaper because I don't have the money to upgrade to 16s. Does anyone on here work for a tire place. Maybe you could get me a fair price. Any help would be great

i had 14s on my trailer, I put used radial tires since the old ones on it were dry rotted to the point they wouldnt hold air.
My size was 195/70/r14
I pick up a used tire off ebay for $30 shipped, 2 more used tires at a salvage yard for $10 a pair. And finally got a 4th free from a local gas station with 90% life left.
I only got used tires because i had sold the trailer for $400 and just wanted it tow-able for the buyer.

life of a trailer tire is about 4 or 5 yrs and after that your takeing a chance.Ask me how I know? My trailer tires let go exactly at 4 yrs old,all 4 blew out in one year when they were 4 yrs old.Dry rot and heavy trailering use does em in.Wal-mart sells tires and will mount them and balance em too.

if you love what your towing, dont skimp out on trailer tires, always check the date code as well. me and a buddy lost a 84 monte carlo dirt car, we had two tires blow out through a corner coming back from Lebanon Valley, trailer slide sideways, caught the guard rail and ripped it right off the hitch. ill see if i cant get the carnage pictures, we were lucky his F350 didnt go with the trailer

^^^^This. For your saftey, the safety of what your are towing and the the other people on the road, put good trailer rated tires on the trailer. Don't be a hack and put car tires on it. I put new tires on my car trailer earlier this year and the total bill was $340 for 205/75/15 Load Range D tires (not C, like most 15" trailer tires are). And the trailer tows greats, tracks great and best of all I have complete confidence when towing. 198esp1 can vouch for how nice the trailer tracks and tows with the tires and. Don't cheap out on trailer tires, nothing good comes from it.
