FS/FT 1994 Formula - SOLD
Selling my 94 Formula A4
Right now as it sits it needs an opti, front tires, and has oil leaks.
has about 134k on the clock, motor has some work done to it but i have no idea what. Has a cold air kit, and slp lm1 catback.
Upgraded wiper arms and center console to later style.
Paint has clear coat peeling everywhere and paint is chipped/ scratched in multiple places. Interior is clean no rips or tears in any of the seats. No headliner. Dash pad has a 1 inch crack by the defroster. Currently has no head unit but i have a jvc head unit with wiring and dash kit to go with it. Also has 2 sony explode 10" woofers in shallow boxes along with a rockford fosgate 300,1 mono amp all currently wired. Can be included or not.
Recently installed new a/c compressor, a/c lines, thermal expansion valve, and "newer" condensor.
Also has a new alternator
Ive only had the car for a little while and it ran great until the opti issue. Car will still start and run for a little but until it gets warmed up and enters closed loop.
I paid 2000 for the car with 128k not too long ago. Then put money into it for the newer stuff. Just trying to recoup some of the money i put out for it between purchase, tags, title, parts etc.
Pics are below if you need more just ask or come and see it.
Open to trades as well. Can put some cash on top or another vehicle on top, either my 98 gtp 4dr (200k), or my 95 f150(255k, straight 6, auto, 2wd, ext cab). Whatever needs to happen. Open to all offers.
Not interested in parting anything out right now except the audio stuff.
Text me at 856 535 7120 for a faster response. Thanks.
before new console

Any pictures of the engine bay?
Where are the leak(s)?
It has a cam but no headers or they just aren't listed?

I can get pics of the engine bay tbis weekend. Im in vermont for work right now. I as wrll as others that have seen it believe there is a cam. Also glancing through the oil fill hole there looks to be aftermarket roller rockers but i dont want to say anything for sure because i may be wrong. I k ow the front seal leaks as well as the rear main seal. There could be others but those i am sure about. There are no headers still stock manifolds with all emission equipment in tact.
Im trying to sell this tbing quickly before i change my mind and decide to rebuild yet another lt1 lol. Plus i could really use the money since the trans on my truck is starting to go so if anyone has a decent cash offer please come forward.

Damn.. Felt like you just got this car!! You can pick up opti pretty cheap on Ebay or in this forums F/S section.. All you need is a vented opti..
This car is a very nice car for the price. It makes good power as well..

More pics and vids posted. Matt was telling me if it does indeed have an aftermarket cam in there then a newer style opti could be used since most of the cams have the hole. But Im not about to start taking it apart to find out, if i had the time to do that then I would have the time to fix it.
Forgot to mention that it also has a new tensioner, new belt, and new rear hatch struts also the driver side window motor/regulator was replaced by previous owner, the passenger side goes up and down but is slow and does the pause thing on the way up.
But in any case bump ttt. Really need this gone.

It will start up and run good for a little while. Once it goes into closed loop and warms it doesn't want to stay running but will keep running in nuetral or park with a little throttle play. It will start up again though within a minute of it throwing dtc 16 and shutting down.

ugh i'm so tempted, Don't want to do an opti & possibly headers for my own amusement. have you ruled out simple stuff like the opti harness or ICM?
How bad are the leaks? Puddle in my driveway leak or have to check the oil level every month/ two?

I haven't tried replacing the icm or anything but with the DTCs it throws I'm almost 100% sure its the opti. As far as the leak goes is say it gets about a quart low in between oil changes. This was a daily driver for me and sometimes I have to drive about 100 miles one way for work. I put about 5k on it since I've owned it in a couple months lol. Also forgot to mention there is definitely a stall converter in it (I believe 3200 since that's where the torque jumps at on the dyno).

Heads up, you may want to move your fuel lines from sitting on the driver side valve cover. They should be held to the TB/throttle cover with a plastic clip.
