ran against a zl1 camaro
i was at atco messing around with my car. i ended up running a zl1 camaro. i have to say that when the new camaros came out i wasn't all that impressed. but that zl1 really grew on me. its really is a nice street car. heres the video of it. i ended up running a career best that weekend of a 9.87 @ 136 (not this pass).

Cool vid, ZL1 is a good performer on the street but pretty unimpressive in a str8 line, stock anyway.

Atleast he takes it to the track and doesn't let it sit in a garage all it's life.

I think the zl1 is pretty badass. it's built to turn corners on big tracks and does it really well - that is why is beats a mustang with more hp on a road course. zl1 has bigger & better everything. bigger front bearing packs, bigger rear dif, all fluids have coolers, even the rear dif. Aero tricks changed it from lift at 120 to down force at 160, a huge change. All stuff you can’t see.

Hah! You and your "logical" arguments!
Everyone know that the only measure of a car's worth is on the dragstrip!

Yes, it's SOM - he painted it himself.

the zl1 ran a 11.98 with a 1.84 60ft. thats not bad for a stock street car. that 60 is pretty ******. with the right tire and a good driver that sucker should be well into the 11s. not bad for a corner cutter. i just like the lines on it. the super bright white paint mixed with some carbon fiber. its a tasteful mix. it would have been cooler to run a COPO car.
it is som. i did paint the car myself about 6-7 years ago. i havent run it to much this year. in the summer it was running 10.1x to 10.0x all day long. with this good fall air now it running awesome. i still have to work on the 60s and getting more weight out of it.
