1979 Trans Am T Top 403/ auto

1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am
403/ auto (assumed # matching)
T Tops
A/C, Tilt, Cruise Control
Yellow/ Black

Dont want to part this out as it is very original, complete and much nicer starting point than most entry level T/A's I have seen.

Great project to restore or build to personal taste.
Car is more or less complete.
Interior in good condition.
Body is not bad but will need some minor patches on fenders / quarters as shown. Will need a new tail panel (avail new).
Floors & frame rails look in great shape as shown. Rad support in good condition as with shaker assy.
Doors, fenders and 1/4's are very savable. No need to replaced them.

Nice unrsuted hood T/A and trunk lid come with car. Ones pictured are no good.

Engine is stuck from sitting.

Car rolls

Clean PA tittle.

Not part of sale but available for extra cost are:
1973 455 w/ TH 400. (rebuilder) - 1200
1976 Pontiac 400 (rebuilder) - 400
1973 Pontiac 400 (rebuilder) - 500
Th350 w/ shift kit (15k on rebuild)

High performance 403 parts if one chooses to rebuild current engine

Asking 3200 obro

Located in Hackettstown, NJ

Was done by All Car Transmissions in Netcong before Dave moved on. Solid trans w/ shift kit. Its is a BOP unit. Was in my 79 T/A which had 403's and 400's in front of it. Never had an issue. Sold car and new owner wanted a T56.

Keeping it together. Being he used a 200r4 and a T56 in his cars, there no need to have the converter laying around. You could resell it.

I am thinking of putting this trans in my Buick GN project that I have since rebuilding the 2004r is expensive to rebuild to handle power. I have the cross member for the th350 just need a trans. I am in Bergen County so I do not know Dave from All Car Transmissions. It is very tempting. The trans is what is holding me up putting my car back on the road.
