I used to cut that with like a liter of water and use it to lift. Worked. But tasted god awful.

I've heard of Leukic, Creakic, Anabolic Halo and all that stuff.
I was never satisfied with Muscletech's products. I've used Cell-Tech and Nitro-Tech. They've been caught by the FDA for making false claims and filed for Chapter 15 bankruptcy a little while ago. I don't trust their stuff, no matter how many sponsor dollars they pay to Jay Cutler and Gustavo Badell and those guys.
Just my opinion, of course. But there is an unfinished bottle of Cell-Tech on my shelf for a reason.
As for leucine,
ON protien (what I use) has over 4 grams of glutamine and 5 grams of BCAAs (leucine, isoleucine, and valine) per scoop. You may already be getting it in yours.

i hear ya on the muscletech products ill never buy nitro tech nor cell tech, but i did get creakic and its really good...
as for leucine i am getting alot from my twinlab whey, however i hear that leucine before a workout is suposedly a good anabolic activator, and since i dont want any NO products i just wana give it a good cycle and see what happens...

Should I ??
I was only doing the NoXplode or SuperPump250 before the gym, maybe some creatine mono in my water bottle (prolly too much though).....I tell you, after about a month or 2, I'd never be sore in the gym ever again, and I'd amaze my friends with the gains. Dunno what all it was from....but I too was using one of the Muscle Tech pills.....creakic or whatever I think.
What's a good, reliable anabolic I can take that won't destroy me testes ?

Yes, you should. 5g creatine a half hour before with 30-50g dextrose or simple carbs, mix warm. Scoop of protein immediately before your workout. I thought it might be a PITA working out with this stuff in my stomach but it works well, and is recommended by a lot of pros/pro trainers. Drink a quart of fluid with a simple sugar in it to keep you going during your workout if you can. I'd post up the details as to why but I would have to look them up. Basically something to do with glycogen reserves and energy for your muscles.

Makes sense to me. Like I posted before, I didn't do too much pre-workout.
I guess having 'friends' that pushed you to your edge and wanting to keep going (and not pussin out) kinda helped too. Still sucks to lift alone. Used to work out with 3-5 others, so you'd hear **** from all sides....
Anyhows....any recommendations ?

I was commenting on your statement of lifting alone.

I lift with music on, I find it that lifting by yourself really cuts down on your time spent at the gym. I'm out in 45 minutes or less if I go by myself, when I was there with friends that would never happen. One time I took one one my friends to the gym and it ended up being 2.5 hours, I never went with him to the gym again...
Bill are you some kind of personal trainer or something?

I like having someone there as a spotter when I'm slinging the bigger dumb bells or any barbell workouts. Just safer to push to the max that way.
I'm a trainer....just don't have the experience with the supplements

No sir. I was a hardgainer for a long time so I had to learn to "beat" my metabolism in order to put on any muscle which involved reading TONS of stuff and asking a lot of advice early on. Couple that with some liver damage my sr. year of college from bad supps, and there ya go. As for technique- same deal.
As for how many, there are probably more of us on here. I know Paul (HardcoreZ28) has been at it for a while and knows his stuff cold. I actually knew him on bodybuilding.com before I did here.

What are you guy's opinions on wrapping your wrists for benching etc? I do it occasionally but I think it makes your wrists in a sense weaker right?

Valid point, but you could just ask someone to do it. I know people have asked me on few occasions. I guess different strokes for different folks applies here

I have some weak wrists, and they have a tendency to roll back. It sucks.

I would assume the answer is not to do as much weight, but it happens when I do simple pushups too, so I dunno.

My lifting gloves have wide wrist straps on them to help stop excessive flex in the wrists. I too need to have 'help' wrapped up some, but not too much. Definately use lifting straps when doing smith machine shrugs myself....but only when I'm at the end of a workout, or going heavier than normal (I try not to go too heavy anymore with my back jacked up).
Oh....and please....someone explain why wearing a lifting belt on bench helps anything ? They honestly don't even help much at all when doing squats.

How do they "roll back" when you do push ups? They are already as far back as they can get. what am i not getting?

Aren't belts essentially bad for you? you get used to the "support" and then if you do it without the belt it's easier to fubar your back, no? I never used any belts or lifting shirts, and not planning on it
