next time you take a comparison why not try to get the camaro's back to back like you did with the charger. depth perception can be tricky
If you're talking about the new Camaro, I'm not sure the bolded part is accurate.

i don't think he would be satisfied in a bentley so there is no sense arguing it.

well with the 3900 ss weight i figured with a full tank of gas, coolant, fluids and such it would come in over 4k

the SS auto is 3,913 lb and the SS manual is 3,860 lb. thats curb weight. pending on the driver, you may be over 4k in the manual and its pretty much guaranteed in the auto

I would have blocked the driveway so that was the best spot.
SS is under 4k by 200lbs unlike you beloved challenger

I guess if you use your math that would make challenger about 4500lbs. And you only get the big bikes in the 40k SRT8. Guess insurance rates on the RT are gonna be astronomical.

delorean in black actually looks better than in the usual stainless.... guy probably go in a fender bender was forced to paint it... they dont make parts for that and you cant repair bare metal and have it look normal... i kind of like it in black... 5th gen is sweet... it is a little chunky though compared to the f-bods of yester year but i still have yet to see one in person so... i liked the challenger in photos but when i saw it in person i nearly puked from sea sickness soo... black rx-7 in the backround is sweet though wouldnt mind one of those................. with a lsx motor heheheheh

The guy said that it was his fathers, it was never in an accident and always loved black cars.
I think it looks great in black as well. There is a company in Texas that is starting to remake them, stainless steel and all.

Dayum, the new Camaro is almost 4K lbs? I love the new Camaro, but it needs that 400hp LS3 if it's gonna be that heavy. I can't wait to test-drive one. I sat in it at NYIAS and fell in loooooooooove.

The funny thing is, people used to rag on the 3rd-gen F's and G-bodies for being "heavy" at 3700, fully loaded with a big driver. My old '85 Monte SS was 3640 with me in it (140lbs) and half a tank of gas on the scale at Etown.

Camaro is a bit heavy, and its larger-then-life body work plays into it...but this car is only 100lbs lighter, and its the size of a Cobalt.

I sat in the car, there was plenty of interior room.
Is there as much interior room as teh foot longer challenger? No.
Is there as much room as there is in a G8? No
Is there as much room as there is in a Mustang? Yes, maybe a touch more in some parts, less in others, but overall same because...shocker...they are about the same size.

Yeah, 3 series is a very small car, but the M3 is surprisingly heavy. The difference is that the 3 series carries its weight low, as it was designed like a 3 series where the Camaro carries its weight higher, which came from its G8/Commodore cousin which is designed like a 5 series.
GM is looking to make a 3 series sized RWD car for Caddy, named "Alpha". Alpha will also underpin the 6th gen Camaro, if all goes well.

go out to your car, move the seat all the way back, and then take a picture.
Thanks a bunch.

Really? that's how you plan on arguing your point? Like Al said, move the seat all the way back and see what happens

my point is. the camaro is big and you dont see any benefits of the bigness on the interior. it slows the car down and probably handles like butt. the problem i have with the camaro's interior is that...

WITH ALL THE BIGNESS OF THE CAMARO...HOW COME THERE ARE NO POSITIVES FROM THE BIGNESS OF IT?????

my point exactly. at least with the the other ''big'' cars you get a nice sized interior.

ITS NOT BIG!!
Its smaller then your 4th gen. By your math, your 4th gen should have the same space as a car of its size, and one car that is about the same size of your car is a Hummer H2. Stupid argument, you lose.
I was actually reading Hot Rod Mag's review of the Camaro, and they talk about how far back the seat goes to accomodate very tall passangers.
I sat in the back with someone sitting in the front. I know how much space there is. I have done the work, I have been in the car.
Just because you keep saying it doesnt make it true.
Just because you move the seat all the way back doesnt mean the car doesnt have any space in the rear.
