that may be your opinion, but personally I LOVE my hhr. Absolutely can't beat it. I paid 11,900 for it with 12k miles on it, get 30 mpg regularly, 35 if I try, and get nothing but compliments from everyone on it. It's comfortable, reliable and convenient, I have transported a variety of things in it that you'd think you would need a truck for, but it worked great; a 12 bolt, 8 foot 2x4s, my daily work stuff that barely fit in my jeep.. It's def an awesome car, and also my vote for you tim. Not tempted to mod it at all other than maybe a tune for even better mileage.

I love the HHR. I wish it was out a year earlier, I would have leased that instead of the Maxx.
Speaking of Commercial, I requested that my hunks of **** Rangers could be replaced with red or white HHR's.

Crown Vic, I had one already, took weight out of it and hacked the air box, it ran 17's
Aztek, is putting a brick on the gas and watching it go off a cliff a mod?
Mazda Speed3, yeah, too many parts available
LO3 powa! yea, I had a modded 91 RS, with what I know now it would be in the 12's in no time flat
Aveo, shockingly they do ride very nice
Van, I am not a child molester, so I am not really qualified to own one. lol
I dunno, I am just thinking out loud a bit. Interesting variety that everyone has suggested

HHR looks ok. kind of dumb that it looks similar to the pt cruiser, and that scion toaster mobile.
but PT cruisers are absolute garbage. especially those wood panel ones oh wait, its just a "van/truck/thingy" body on a neon chassis.
was the HHR built on the slobalt chassis?

no good. ever heard of the mercury marauder? it's a grand marquis with [edited] 4.6-liter DOHC V8 with 302 horsepower and 318 pound-feet of torque [/edited]. a supercharger and a bunch of parts are available aftermarket to turn your sheep into a wolf.
i'm thinking 3 cylinders will keep your hand off of teh wallet. yugo. 'nuff said.

someone that followed my advice that actually has benefited by it... i was kidding about the 3 cylinders. the HHR is an awesome vehicle. i am currently trying to get the wife into one so we have room in the driveway (she still loves her Liberty).
and before you get interested in the Liberty (aside from your comment that they are all plastic inside), kenne bell has a supercharger kit for it. also, a lot of the other Jeep mods are almost plug'n'play with the Liberty.

What years were the Marauder's supercharged? I thought they were DOHC 4.6 N/A motors.
