Looking at the satellite image on Google maps, it looks like you guys are in the middle of nowhere. Is the afternoon / evening traffic there pretty busy? You have some other shops to help create more foot traffic, but I hope you can find a way to draw folks from Lambertville / New Hope. Route 29 should be busy I would think.

Good luck! Menu sounds really good.

EDIT: Your hours definately need to expand. Catch the early lunch folks before noon. Night hours to 8pm are ok except in Summer when daylight reaches well after 9pm and people spend weekend nights cruising. Just "food" for thought!

C'mon, you laughed at the bad pun, admit it!

Congrats on getting open! I agree on the hours, and since summer is coming you should be able to hire some high school help for min wage.

Also, my .02 (fwiw) is to try as much as you can to keep hours consistent. Breakfast people like routine. If they can't remember what days you serve breakfast, chances are they won't stop in. Also, people are less likely to go out for an early breakfast on weekends, but are much more likely to be out for a cruise late at night. Again, just something to think about. For a little while, keep a daily log and see what your busiest times are to try and get a good idea who you cater to and when. Statistics are great to look at for businesses.

yeah i totally agree , my busy times are wedsday sat and sunday from 6am-3pm cuz of the market that is here, you cant even get in. Believe me i will be expanding my hours just working on limited fuel and help as of right now but within the next month or so my hours will expand as i acquire more help.

statistically from the njdot my location see's a little over 20,000 cars per day on average. i have delivery to draw some biz and on market days here its just crazy but hopefully in due time my traffic will pick up.

Am I the first customer from the board?

I stumbled across Fast Eddies yesterday morning. I went down to Lambertville for the fleamarket... as I wandered from table to table I realized i needed some coffee in order for my brain to process the amazing amount of junQ passing before my eyes...

I walked to the nearest building... looked up and though "Fast Eddies?" That sounds familiar...

Anyway... I grabbed a cup of coffee. I should have gotten a donut too!

The place was hoppin' The staff was friendly and the service was good.

I hope to get down there again one day for an F-body meet.

BTW... I love the big sign out front offering coffee and a donut to our current and former servicemen and women.

Yeah, we'll remember eventually. I've been so busy at work I'm lucky if I know what day of the week it is.
