Koll, from what I remember your car sounded pretty good, but my exhaust leak really makes it hard to hear anything but that.

I did my research and it seems that the stock SR20DE put down around 140 HP.With said bolt ons you are prob around 160-170 at most. My car from the factory had 180. This is 310,000 miles ago, so I am probably the same as you, if not less. And not to mention you had a weight advantage.

Actually in my first post in this thread I said that I have been looking into buying an LS1 Trans Am for a while now. I found this site a while ago looking for a local F-Body site to see if local guys are daily driving their F-Bodys and driving them during winter and how bad it is (to get an idea of what I'd be in for after buying one). I just never signed up here since I didnt have an F-Body. I've been on LS1.com for about a year, just browsing/reading getting some information together but I never posted (username on LS1.com is 93RedSE-R). It just so happened that I was looking around here and saw the post and figured I would sign up and post a little info on my car.

Ahh ok gotya. I have an LT1, and hate driving it in the winter. I have gotten stuck, slid all over the road, snowed in, plowed in. Im actually looking to sell mine soon, because for me its only a nice weather car. I need something to drive anyday of the week with any weather because i do quite a bit of traveling.

Thanks for the name calling. And to provide an answer to your other post, no the big chrome tip doesnt count as a mod. Like I said in my previous post, its a pacesetter exhaust, it was cheap and that was all I could afford at that time and I really had to pass inspection.
|
LOL thats funny. Sorry for the name calling. My apologies. But I keep looking over to see if you two want to run and you have this stone cold dead stare straight ahead like we are invisible but you keep pacing us. That was pretty hilarious though. I made fun of him the whole night.
Welcome to the site by the way.

bad64chevelle, Thanks for the heads up. I'll be keeping my '92 Talon TSi AWD if/when I do buy an F-body. However my Talon acts like a typical DSM and isnt very reliable.
F8L WS6, No problem. Yeah at certain parts of 37 I pay attention to the road just making sure there arent cops around.
Thanks for all the welcomes by the way.
