don't worry about how anyone else feels about it. you have to be happy with your purchase.

My math isn't too rust but if 12500-4500 doesn't equal $8000 you could have used to buy a $200 beater and then the rest to rebuilding the camaro... well then I'm stumped. I guess some guys are in a rush to drive something fast and instead of building it, buying it.... to each his own. I don't look down on you for your choice but I wouldn't have spent that $12500 on a Ford unless it was a new Cobra (which I'd quickly sell and buy a mint 91 z28 and install go fast goodies). Again, each his own and good luck with it. Hope it holds up for ya.

first off if you can read i wasnt commenting on your car i was commenting(puking) on the fact that someone else wants to get a mustang and that its spreading. Secondly, last i checked you havent run your mustang at the track therefore until you do your a bench racer meaning you havent beat me so

Spend a fortune on a car that is "fast" but not as fast as I think it could be... not much respect. I'd have more respect for somebody that was only a bit slower but spent more wrench time on the car. Though that's just me, some people like pre-paid fast cars . I'm not saying I wouldn't like to own one but it's not a respect thing, it's an appreciation thang.

he could also do extrude hone to the cobra intake...from what i remember the cobra has enough material they can make it flow more then the gt-40 intake.

Yeah, but the GT-40 looks way better 8)
John Urist made over 800 HP with a GT-40 intake. Then againMike Murillo made 800 HP with a systemax intake . I'd still get the gt-40, it looks better

yah your probably right...buy the gt 40 and sell the cobra...you could probably make all your money back...give or take a bit...actually if you can find just a gt40 upper the cobra lower is the same so you could just buy the upper really.

I can also vouch for this car that is the fastest thing i've road in. But its also one of those cars were the gas gauge and the rpm gauge move at the same rate in opposite directions. You have to respect it though for the power it has however...
when the supercharged 350 iroc comes around soon, f-body's will rule the streets of clifton once again...

the thing is they are the same port style...its just that the gt 40 upper is slightly different then the cobra & flows slightly better...but the $300-400 probably would be better spent on something else IMO...i was checking out how much cobra intakes go for now and its not even worth it anymore...cuz the 94-95 mustang 5.0's & explorers basically used a cobra intake...took the value right out of them.
