You're the first person I've ever heard of not having seen at least ONE of the Star Wars movies.
My point is, if you aren't going to see it because it looks too geeky then that's not a good reason. If you don't like action flicks than that's a much better reason .
well thats not the reason i dont want to see it...i love action adventure movies...but ...i just have no desire to see it...the story line everything about it just isnt amusing to me... o well

This coming from the guy that doesn't like "Two-Lane Blacktop". Â* What movies did you like? I've never heard of you say anything good about a movie, EVER Â*
I wouldn't so much call it an action movie, although yeah, there is a lot in it, but the main genre is Sci-Fi, and that, my dear, is what disinterests Kelly, as well as myself. As for Matt, he likes plenty of movies, and i know this because Matt usually recommends them to me. Personally, I am just flat-out disinterested and not at all intrigued by any of the Star Wars saga hype. It's not my thing, but whenever I tell someone that, they are like "omgwtf you don't know what a good movie is!" I'll leave the fans' opinions alone as long as they stop coming after me with toy lightsabres for disliking the films.

Finding out that Darth Vader is Lukes father, will forever be one of the best suprises in any film! Come on you have to admit, it was just bone chilling! This was by far the best of them all because it links everything together! They did emphasize too much on the lovey lovey crap, and not enough on the "the ending" ( don't wanna spoil it for anyone)! Great Film!
Lucas......give us 3 more

Well has all "9" written, but he's not sure if he will release the last 3 on film! There was a "rumor" that he will redo the original 3? I'd rather see the last 3

the rumor of nine total movies started when the first 3 came out...Lucas had originally planned on the last 3 movies dealing with Luke Skywalker's confrontation with the Emperor. However, he scrapped that idea and decided to do it in 6 movies. you won't see another 3 movies.

Rumors (probably unfounded) are floating around that he's got 3 more planned in his head, dealing with the post-empire and all that

I like the story and the action. I dont consider myself a geek, and I dont think you ahve to be one to like Star Wars. I didnt dress up in a helmet and cape and go see the movie, but I like the plot and the story.

haha no I wasnt. I really dont get that into Star Wars. I like the story, but I like movies that have a deeper plot. I dont like scary movies, and I usualy like to watch funny movies, but epic things like Star Wars is just fun to watch.

does anyone else ever want to start a riot between star wars fans?

you can say to the guy dressed like darth vader "hey man, this guy over here says you're a weenie because you are mostly robot"

darth vader "ill have to choke a bitch"

then you say to the obi wan type guy "hey man, darth vader over here says youre gay and you talk too much"

plastic light sabers get whipped out...riot in the theater.

awesome.

On my "3rd" visit to the theater, Darth Vader and Obi Wan were fighting in the parking lot! Full costums and all so....... It was killing me, I had to stop the violence! I interuppted the battle and asked Darth Vader for an autograph! They weren't happy, but my friends and I got a huge laugh

The last three books were written by Timothy Zahn (The Thrawn Trilogy). From what I heard Lucas doesn't even regard them. The only way Lucas will make films 7-9 is if he writes them himself so he can make more on them. But who knows, maybe in another 15 years they'll surprise us again with something new again.

I was 4 years old when the original Star Wars came out, and my parents took me to see it. I was totally amazed, and have been a fan since. Not the type of fan with all the books and lightsabers and crap, but just someone who enjoys the story line. I thought Episode 3 tied all of the movies together nicely. It definitely is better than the first two prequels!

I remember hearing that back in the day also. But, I saw an interview with Lucas and Christensen on AOL for Moviefone, and Lucas said that Episode 6 is the final episode. To him, Star Wars is really the story of Anakin Skywalker (Darth Vader); about how he was good, then decieved and turned to the Dark Side, and finally his redemption at the end of "Return of the Jedi."
