Don't worry James, they are itty-bitty. They made a nice improvement in Craig's times when he was running low 15's/high 14's.
BTW....don't you still have your old converter laying around?

Allow me to break it down for the two arguing parties.
-No rule ever stated Kasey can not run d/r's.
-If Kasey has to race at full street weight, then so does Matt
-RE: alex's comment on "run what ya brung"on the street. this race has nothing to do with that. if it did, they might as well do it on the street at a red light. even if he ran at full street weight at the track, he'd still be faster than on the street due to track prep. And to be completely honest, a stoplight match is not when it matters most. it's when you're at the track trying to edge out one of your buddies that it matters the most.If I still had a fast car, I wouldnt give a rats ass if street dwellers thought my car was fast or not. I'd have the timeslips to prove it and if they want to step up, I'd go to the track, cause I'd have the advantage of knowing the track.
This is a heads up race with no ground rules. there is no need for all the crying and carrying on. come race day, man up and see who finishes first.

come on now its james, you shouldnt have to ask that question also i think its kinda stupid for you guys to be bitchin about this (especially you alex, sorry bro ) there were no rules previously set, granted it is a little unfair, but hell isnt everything?? if matt added a turbo and nos im sure kasey would be a lil mad about it but this is rediculous. and just for the record we all know kaseys mods are nowheres near equal to a turbo/nos ill race sum1 just for the hell of it but i dont care if i win or lose cuz a) itll be my first time at the track and b) i barely have anything done to my car but ill still go up against u if you want matt (keep in mind that im gonna be running at full weight)
edit: i just noticed im a smilie addict! help!

alex, how did you get involved in decidign what is or isn't fair for kasey to run?
teh race is between kasey and matt. kasey is bragging about his upgrades and being all hyped up about it. matt plays it cool and says it will be solved sunday.
now if matt doesn't feel like bitchin about it then no one else is in any position to complain. [/rant]
later

You know, I suggested Kasey this, but this may help for other weight nazis. Just install an anti-gravitational device, keep the windows up, and you got an instant 100+ pound weight reduc. unless your belemic (sp?)

Now your changing the story.
I think its lame to run a car on slicks & skinnies just once, because on the street every day you dont have slicks & skinnies, so what you run for the day isnt an actual representation of what you run on the street...(where you are 98% of time a year.) Â*I could have sworn somoene harassed me about asking to borrow skinnies for the day...
|
My Nova will be a street car that I drive alot, I sure as hell wont wanna take that to the track on street tires...
