Anyway Matt, wiping out all the oil sludge is your best bet. Quit your puking, haha. Like they said, set some rags in there, and also don't be afraid to scoop the sludge out with your fingers. When we took my engine apart, it was full of sludge, but all we did was soak it up and scoop it out, all clean. Runs great.

Some latex or nitrile gloves make it a bit better to do.

			what do I use to get "soak" it up?
 Negative on the 305 motor right now. I wanna get her runing before I get a new engine.

			jsut don't use any harsh solvents when you are cleaning the inside of the engine. stick to stuff like WD-40 and a nylon brush(an oild tooth brush actually works great) to get the tough stuff up.

			oven cleaner may work on the sludge,it works great on carbon buildup.but im not to sure if ud wanna spray that on something that isnt getting fully disassembled and cleaned
