Well, there is Led Zeppelin, and then there is everything else…
I like blues, rock and ‘old’ metal, a relatively wide assortment. Examples, in no order: BB King, Albert Collins, SRV, Yardbirds, Iron Maiden, Sabbath (Ozzy & Dio vintage), Joe Walsh, Deep Purple, Rainbow, Beatles, Rush, Dio, pre-black Metallica, Judas Priest, Anthrax, Hendrix, Buddy Guy, Elvis, Jeff Beck, GnR, Velvet Revolver, STP, Motorhead, Mastodon, Albert King, John Lee Hooker, Queen, the Stones, Aerosmith, the Allman Brothers, AC-DC, old Clapton (Derek & the Dominos and earlier), the Beach Boys, Van Halen, Van Hagar, Kiss, ZZ Top, Twisted Sister, Fastway, the Black Keys, Megadeth, Soundgarden, White Zombie, the original Blues Brothers, the Black Crowes, Pearl Jam, Cream, The Who, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, James Brown,…holy crap, so much stuff I can’t think of right now! Then there is the one-hit or few-hit wonders!
I can’t listen to music if I don’t like the singer’s voice – like Yes. Great band, but I detest Jon Anderson’s voice. For some reason I never got into Pantera for the same reason. I love great voices. Pat Benatar, old Heart (Ann Wilson), most anything with Paul Rodgers (Free, Bad Co, The Firm, now Queen). A lot of blues & soul singers have terrific voices (like Etta James, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin). I can’t figure out when singers decided a warbling singing style (ala Christine Aguilera) was better then a smooth, strong singing style.
The only country I like is the Allmans, some Skynyrd, and the Rolling Stones. And CS&N. So, no country. No rap except Anthrax and NWH.
I listen to a lot of live music. I totally need a friggin ipod. One of them 60G ones.

Yes I am redneck, and am proud of it Add some Hank Williams Jr, Toby Keith, Josh Turner, Kenny Chesney, Jake Owen, Jack Ingram, Brooks & Dunn, Chris Cagle, Big & Rich, and some more to that and thats pretty much my country fix. I listen to pretty much everything, look at my music folders on this computer and its pretty much anything you can think of.

Primarily Emo and soft-moderate rock. Third Eye Blind and Something Corporate are my favorite bands.
Then again, I like Damien Rice and Regina Spektor. I have likes on pretty much the whole spectrum except for metal I think.

Haha, when it comes to music what can I say? But don't go assuming I wear teenage girl's pants and mascara while razorblades dance on my wrists.
By the way Third Eye Blind is playing Starland in April, I am siked out of my mind.

Pink Floyd.
Then the rest of my choices are generally hair metal from the 80's, and nu-metal from 2000+. Hey, I'm in my 30's here.
Edit: I'm also a guitar solo junkie. Any song that has a guitar solo lasting more than 30 seconds gets my vote. Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb FTW!

Seems theres a few people on here with the same taste as me... Been a fan of "punk rock" for as long as I can remember.
Bad Religion (by far the greatest of all time...)
Much The Same (best "new" band)
NOFX
Bigwig
Ryan's Hope
Smoke or Fire
All
Kid Dynamite
Dead Milkmen
Rise Against
Billy Bragg
Greg Graffin
The Ramones
The Queers
Nirvana
Screeching Weasel
Blink-182
kinda hate Anti-Flag nowadays... I've always thought their music sounded good but they're too overly political and hypocritical it gets too annoying... The lead singer/guitarist Justin Sane put out a solo album a few years ago "Life, Love, and the Pursuit of Justice" that is amazingly good though

I was introduced to dragonforce today... as my friend's roommate said "the only thing stopping them from being completely amazing is that their lyrics suck"... but if you get past the subject matter/image then you can hear some of the best guitar playing I think I've ever heard
edit: lyrics arent even all that bad
