I highly doubt your gonna have an earth shake from a sonic boom.. I refueled all military jets for 10 yrs.... I was an engineer in a kc130.... I have seen hundreds of sonic booms at less than 100' off our plane and you don't feel ****.... its the sound barrier... not ordinance blowing up... as far as that air show stuff???? I doubt your gonna get that from fort dix or mcguire thats 40 miles away..... I would stick with the bridge deal.. take a ride by there tomorrow and see for yourself....

That might be the case with your experiences. When I went tdy to Edwards with my assigned KC-10 we refueled the F-22 in testing about 5 years ago. While we were parked on the ramp(flightline) the F-22 was doing manuevers overhead about 15000 feet with an F-16 and he caused a few sonic booms. Trust me, our entire jet SHOOK bigtime every time he did one. You are definitely not hearing a boom from mcguire all the way out there, but he was talking about them doing practises over the atlantic.
