1st gen and 69 in particular. That year had the factory installed 427's, the JL8 4 wheel disc brakes(which was very exotic for a car of that type), had the most options ever available on the Camaro and had the highest production totals. But a 70 RS/SS L78 with the COPO spoiler option would be a really cool and rare car as well.

Thumbs up

I've only owned a 3rd gen and a 4th gen (still have that one ) but I do have plenty of experience in the 2nd and even 1st gens...but regardless of all of that I voted 1st gen because '67 - '69 1/2 Camaros (especially '69s) simply ROCK!

if the 5th gen was in production and looked just like the concept model that woulda been my vote. but in the 5th gen's absense, the 1st gen owns it. there's a certain kind of thunder that only a '69 SS can produce. ::O FACE::

68 RS/SS in dark blue with hideaway lights does it for me.....otherwise it's all about the 85-92 3rd gens. Not a big fan of the 82-84 body styles.

this poll would be 99% identical to "What camaro do you own?"

I am partial to the 1st gen due to having a '69 camaro as my first car at 16.
The first gens 67' to '69 have a unique look with nice lines. I voted for the 1st
gen. I now have a prostreet 3rd gen. This is my 4th 3rd gen camaro I've owned. My second choice would be the 3rd gen. These cars have a sharp aggresive look to them and have a nice stance.

i voted 1st gen.... because i dont like that many camaros.

other than 1st gens i like........

70-73 split bumper cars
90-92 convertibles
93-97s
and some 98 up just because of the ls1

and yes i own the year i voted for.....
i also think making this poll for birds would result in a much different arrangement

#1 1969 ZL1 427 Camaro
#2 1992 Heritage Z28 convertible
#3 1970 RS/SS
#4 02 SOM Berger SS...

overall the third gen had 8 good years..84-02, 4th gen only had 4 good years 98-02 because the LT1 camaro nose is not so nice looking IMO

I've had a 2nd, a 3rd, and 2 4th gens, and would love to eventually get a 1st gen...'68 preferably. As for my favorites, I'd say the '68 and the split bumper 2nd gens.
