my friends got a 96 grand cherokee laredo with the 6, cars got about 165k on it and hes put 2 new transmissions in the thing.. besides his trans the cars been good, he BEATS the piss outta the thing

My buddy had a late 90s Wrangler...all he learned was their overpriced junkers. My mom has a 2005 Laredo and the tranny has leaked since late 2006. IMO their trash, never heard anything good about them.

the trans leak is probably the cup seal for the connector that goes into the valve body through the trans case. I've seen a lot of those. simple fix and it should be under warantee. *edit* just read that its an 05, probably out of warantee then. still a very easy fix.

yeah, wranglers are not usually cheap, thats because everyone likes them. Cherokee's are where its at!

From what Ive seen the new Jeeps blow, but I dont know what youre talking about for Jeeps in general because Ive owned / worked alot of jeeps and they have all been great vehicles.
