Well you are doing a piss poor job.

But to tell you the truth, trucks started off small, and at the time many people went to or lived around Rutgers. It started to scare off ricers, but from that came a some what dedicated group of people that went.
Like I said in last weeks thread, just go. Dont not go if no one is gunna be there. If you cant go, dont, but if you wana hang out and just have fun and eat some sammiches, then do it. You dont need to bring an Fbody, you dont need to have it washed and waxed before you bring it, you just need to come down. Maybe you will like it, or maybe you will be anti-social. Either way, its alright.
Last night we had:
j0n - Vette
j3w - Camaro
Liz - With Craig
Craig - Solstice GXP
Brian - with j0n
Fish - Bike
Me - Hotprice
it was fun, we laughed, we ate, we cursed aloud, general trucks shenanigans.

life in general. When we went, we were all college students who didn't really have any responsibilities. some had jobs, but not many. weve been going to the grease trucks for 3 or 4 years now, and at some time, you have to expect it to slow down, or have another set of people start to flow in the spots that the originals leave, but it hasn't happened it seems. I never used to miss a week until I got a job that I had to be up at 4am. Put an end to that.

Exactly...

Some of us that live in the area or where things havent really changed still go. I live 30-40 mins away, but I try to make it up there. Gas prices do hinder me some times as its not easy going from a car that got 26mpg to 18mpg, and thats the best one.
But nothing really "killed" it. Its not like every time we had a trucks meet there were 40-50 people there. Its not some mythical beast that people from all over teh state went too. Most of the time it was 6 to 8 people.
There stilla re times when there are 10 cars there and 20 people, but no more no less then there used to be. And just cause there are a small group of people doesnt mean that its not fun. Hell, one of the best times is when it was Ian and myself, and we got to touch girls boobs, butts, and Ian got to kick a guy in the junk. And no jail time!!
I remember a few weeks ago there were a lot of people there.

Trucks started of like so.

me: "I've never been to these grease trucks; is it what it's cracked up to be?"

j0n: "Let's go. Tuesday work?"

me: "ehh i dunno, I can definitely get out of work earlyer wednesday to"

him: "ok that works. anyone else wanna come?"

me: "I dunno. Post it up"

it's that simple
