3.42's were an option for autos, Y87 package. Manuals got the 3.23's and autos had 3.08's or optional y87 3.42's. even if u had the y87 package in a maunal u still got 3.23's. Just check the door, either way ur right just look for a rear with the higher gears already in it and slap it on there
