I like the look in the pics, I'd like to see one in person for a final verdict though.

Ummmm.....Buick currently sits on as much market share as Olds and Buick used to sit on combined. Buick is also GM's most profitable division in the Asian market, especially the far eastern parts of China and Japan.

As far as shared platforms, it is the way of the world and hardly a new thing. You may have noticed that GM built four models on the 'X' Platform domestically and several more world wide, Four domestic A-bodies and even more worldwide.........this isn't a new idea.

Stream lining platform engineering and designing in flexibility to satisfy more than one market segment is the best way to reach the most customers without wasting billions developing volumes of niche marques that can only survive a few years at a time in the modern market.

I think the portholes need to get off the hood and onto the fenders.

Dumb asses

BTW, does anyone else think the rear end screams Lexus ES330(or whatever the number is up to) and the new Mazda 6?

Yes, I thought Lexus right away when I saw the rear.

I also think - and this is very minor - it would be nice to see them add the colors (red, white and blue) back to the trishield emblem. I don't know why they stopped doing this...maybe because the cars the emblem represents don't exist anymore?
