I've been riding for 14 years now, I've had my share of "car run-ins". I've kicked two cars in the doors because they were merging into me and I had nowhere to go. We've all got our stories. Just gotta keep a level head out there.......but still have fun! Nothing like riding!

That's gotta be nerve-racking having no place to go. I don't have much faith in NJ drivers much anymore...

You part of the "Central Jersey Sportbikes"? I believe one of the guy's names is "NYTalent" on there... It's based out of Edison, so I figured I'd ask.

Wish I could've made it. Parents moving back to NJ from AZ. Helping them out. Missing a good riding day(not like yesterday's wind). But I now have babysitters close! Yeah!!
Awesome!! I wish I had the balls for that. Kicking is as far as I've gotten. I wont play tough though, if it were a car full of large scary gentlemen, I'd have layed on my sissy horn and then have taken the hit. LOL!!

I've been to Vineland a few times. I deal with a company out there called Seren. Some long quiet roads out there. Nice? Or scary with animals?

Gratz on the first 2-up ride. No probs?(except wind) As long as you don't have someone leaning the opposite way on turns it's not much different. Cool to have people with you. Yeah the wind was moving early in the day. Sudden cross winds can really mess up your line.

Their group is pretty much just a myspace page/forum.
I agree that we should have a 2wheel ride, but maybe during Springtime as well.

Down for a spring 2-wheel ride. Sounds like we have enough people on here to have quite a crew. It'd be nice to get away from local roads. Get a group ride into Pa or NY or south NJ. Somewhere with some open roads. Anyone have a cool favorite route or loop we could do?

I know I'm from way north, but I have a few favorite circuits up here in New York State, but a ride starting somewhere in between North & Central jersey can take us into PA and through Hawks Nest and end somewhere around High Point.

Me and my friends were talking about heading to Hawks Nest in NY...
Any good? Traffic?

When I went in late fall the only traffic was motorcycles you'll come across a few cars but generally they will move over into the shoulder so you can pass. The main stretch of the Hawks nest is really nice, and there's literally hundreds of nice side roads that you can take.

Sounds great! We should plan something. I know there are a lot of riders here so we should post up on the north and south threads too, once we know what we're doing.
