They had some races again today at Beach Haven. Of course, it wasn't advertised anywhere and even the locals were surprised. I just happen to be down at Harvey Cedars and ran down to the Ketch in the afternoon and all you could hear was open headers!

You have to go to the races or check on the website, it's not in any of the papers anymore. And yet there's been a huge number of spectators this year, more than ever. IIRC it was the championship race. I love watching them.

Yup, my co-worker Jon is part of one of the teams. Championship races were yesterday, and judging by his presents not here today, I think they won the championship for thier class.
Jeff, you live down in this area? Harvey Cedars, blah blah blah, your naming all the places we deliver to.

No, I wish I had a place on LBI. My parents neighbor is letting us use his house in Harvey Cedars since nobody has rented it this month. I like to go down to Beach Haven on Sundays if the weather is nice to ride the bike around, roller blade or kick back, then go to the Ketch and hang out with a view by the bay.
