Boosted lq9 tragedy !!!! Wtf.. Wtf.. Wtf

WELL A DISASTER HAS COME ABOUT W/ BOSTED LQ9 IN MY Z28.....
took car for a drive sat. nite..
on way home started misfiring, figured plug wire poppd off or somethin. nope !!!!
had her on the lift when i got home checked everything out and all the plugs were fouled.
put all new tr6 plugs in sunday, went to crank and motor locked up.
pulled a plug and fuel poured out
pulled intake pipe off & opened throttle WHAMMMMM.. ABOUT 3 GALLONS OF FUEL POURED OUT AT ME !!!!
WTF WTF WTF...
GUESS WHAT. after doing some diagnosing the f*****N tune that cartek did decided to set my injectors to open when key on. in which filled motor up with fuel.

i am gonna f*****n beat the s*** out of julio or max @ cartek if they don't take care of this.

needless to say i have 1 or so bent connecting rods in engine, now motor has to come back out... wtf
i am gonna try and post a vid of the fuel pouring out of intake.

Julio is the one who tunes the car there. I would sort of blamed him, most likely what happened was your injectors were maxed out for your setup. (Duty cycle of 85%+) Which will cause an injector to stick open if run a lot while maxed out.

My injectors on a cam only setup were maxed out and they didn't tell me I even asked them if I needed injectors and they said i was fine. When I went to tune my car I saw my injector duty cycle being 110%.

This brings me back to Bill's reasons for becoming a tuner back in the day with crappy Cartek!

pretty sure injector size is good.
runnin a set of fast 60lb. injectors they are rated @ 60lb @ 43 psi car setup with 65psi so i believe they should be somewhere about 72lb/hr.

only runnin 9pounds of boost so i think 48lb or 52lb injectors would have been sufficent. but always thought that u can never have too much injector.
what you think? 10psi lq9 with 60lb. injtrs ?

thats what i thought !

fuel can only get into the motor 1 way. through the injectors so if thats the case then it has to be the injectors stuck open. computer tells the injectors to open/close.
pretty damn sure i don't have 8 bad injectors from f.a.s.t. @ $600 that i paid for them.
not like i used some ebay injectors or somethin.
