As per Weather.com (The Weather Channel), it's looking like the south and a great deal of central will be getting hammered while the north won't be hit quite as hard. Still, I'll believe it when I see it.

This storm is looking real similar to the Dec storm. South might get 2 feet again and north might be 6" or less. It's like a backwards winter. There's more snow on the ground in MD than there is in VT!

A lot of snow

My mom knows someone who works for the DOT, and they are expecting 30 inches in south jersey.

We've got somewhere between a dusting and 1/2" on the ground right now, but it has gotten heavier and the flakes have gotten larger in the last hour or so.

son'bitch. we got at least 9" maybe more. I can't find the newspapers in it. a couple years ago the snowblower tried unsuccessfully to pass a newspaper. I had to take it all apart. damn, that better not happen again.

That was my biggest worry today. But no paper was found! And there was a plow train that went by while I was out blowing the snow so I was able to clean up the end of the driveway easier since it wasn't a frozen pile of snowslush. Watch out for Wed, it's looking like another 6-12" storm for us!

I found my paper and 2 of my neighbor's papers! All good. Got my yard 99% done, and a few of my neighbors houses...until the sheer pin broke! D'oh!

Our paper was delivered about an hour ago and the driveway was already clear.

I was doing well, until the handle came loose and the drive cable stretched. Not to mention the pull cord snapped when I first started it up.

I'm impressed with my Cub Cadet. That 54" blade moves a lot of snow. Thank god it has a diff. lock. It was unstoppable with over 12" of snow.

Actually, it didn't matter if I was at a stand still sitting in the thick of it. Just drop the plow and hit the go pedal.
