My dad got hit pretty bad. House had 4 foot of water inside his deck is gone with no trace of where it's at. The monte Carlo he has got flooded out along with a boat hitting it and busting through the bathroom wall
Little egg harbor,nj
Idk who else saw this I came across it online. Sandy destroyed a town( in ny i believe it was) and this was left standing

I was in Belmar with Taylor till about 730 when the shark river came over our first step and the garage began filling along with the basement. We took my jeep and his tbss to oceanport seeking refuge at his parents' home. Along the way, we encountered high winds, downed trees, no power, skies lit by transformers blowing, and insane water crossings. The tbss fell victim to one but Taylor says its up and running again, thank goodness. We couldn't make it to his parents' so we turned around and stayed in kmart's parking lot in Wall till about 2 am. We headed back to the house and the water was gone from the street. Slept there and then I have been at my parents' home in Brick since.

Yea, Taylor and I were down there yesterday, they have cops at the entrances.
Asked us if our generator was stolen and if we wanted some hot chocolate.

I personally didn't see it but there's definitely debris lines that would lead me to believe yes. That is the lowest area for the train tracks which stopped the water at the other streets. I was going to go into Mantaloking today but didn't have the heart to yet.

Adam I don't know how close you will be able to get as far as man to looking is concerned. I know its one of the hardest hit areas on the island. Also I have a lot of good memories on the beaches in the mantoloking section. It really does make me so sad to see what's left of that area. I still cannot believe that there is a whole section of land just gone. Sandy was one angry powerful bitch

I help out with the police towing in the beach, bay head, and mantaloking and my boss had a couple calls in mantaloking already. I know I can get around there a little bit but I just don't know if I want to see it in person yet. They were hit hard along with every town south.

I didn't go up there but I had looked that way and it appeared ok. I'm sure water and sand got up that way but the boardwalk was intact so I assumed all was ok. I actually rented at 9 vetrini lane, house right behind the one you are talking about.

That was the best mini golf place ever. For some reason that's what hit me from those pictures.

ill try to get a few pics me and my girl took of a few areas and marinas in brick... Tuesday afternoon we were talking in waist deep water to go and inspect the damage at her sisters house (which is located on a lagoon) that faired pretty well with minimal damage. They were very lucky. many on their street not so much. try and get these pics up tonight or tomorrow... others are of Wherlan brothers marina in brick off princton ave... what a mess they have on their hands there. Again my girls fathers boat which was dry docked came within 3 inches of slipping off its blocks but again very lucky its still there with minimal damage...

Took a trip to visit my uncle down in Beach Haven, snapped some pics.
These are down at the end near Holgate

This house normally doesn't have sand near it
Old style cottages fared the worst

Again, there is never any sand normally here...
Ripped up concrete and gas lines
Pile of debris, weirdest crap was everywhere and on everything
And for Nickapedia.. a lost jetski
Ruined sidewalks and what not
Holgate is still shut down, as their missing houses...
These last few are leaving Beach Haven area
House full of sand
For Veteran's day
Apologies for the lousy camera work, I is le bad
