Perhaps we should have a yearly donation/fundraiser period? I'm sure some other people would donate too but may not see this particular thread now or in the future. At a minimum, a thread like this is good to let us know the financial state of the club so that it gives us a chance to help. Maybe one year we can have meets again, real world dependent, and maybe emphasize collecting donations then.

I just wanted to reach out and give a belated thank you to all who kicked in last year to keep the lights on here. All said and done we received enough to pay for the server bill last year, pay the server bill this year, and we already have most of the funds needed to cover the server bill next year.
So thanks again to all of you who were able to donate and help out, and also to everyone who has helped make this place great for the last 18 years.
