Thanks man! It was a lot of fun to build. Your car is incredible too; the engine bay and paint are flawless! I like your powdercoated serp. brackets too. Mine are just painted black, but I might get them bead-blasted and powdercoated next time the motor is out .

What about the big block, gas guzzling SS454 pickup that was there?

Needs to become un-stock . I do chips for them to increase horsepower and milage. Headers, intake manifold, modify fuel pressure regulator and it'll be a low 14 sec truck, high 13's with some hook. I heard it was your daily driver, looks like it's in great shape if that's the case.

I need to sell the SS454 right now so I can finish my 69 Z28 restoration so I can't dump any money into it. If I still have it next year, it could be a different story.

i take 50% responsibility for that ...i had a 3" harwood cowl hood, and when i sold it i cut a stock z28 hood i had and put a blower style scoop through it. Â*Then the kid i sold the car to had someone put that scoop cover on it(its removeable, lol)...and now the new owner Tony, got the car that way.
did you paint it with a $1.99 can of spraypaint too?
thats 5 cans of top quality primer, baby! Tony...hes a good kid, but some of his ideas are....crap. When the car was red, he wanted to paint the hood silver. he tried to go about doing it without so much as wiping the crap off of the hood, and using 1/4 of a can of spraypaint. Even when he primered the car, he was convinced that Rain-X was sufficient in place of actually covering the windows and headlights and taillights. As for 600 HP...hes convinced its 600 HP, and hes convinced he has a dyno sheet that says 600HP to the wheels. And yes, those wheels are much nicer than the steel wheels from when he bought the car. Its a fun drive tho.
