Was he underage and under the influence of alcohol? If so, then he deserved to pay out of pocket for all vehicular damage as well as face penalties for driving in his condition.....

was his car still drivable after he hit the deer? if it was, I would have driven to the closest friends house or my house if it was close and worried about it in the morning. Who calls the cops on themselves when they have been drinking?

2 things must be different in wayne cuz here in Sussex county i know PLENTY of people who has hit deer and drove off? wtf are cops gonna do anyways?
3. If i was underage and had any amount of alcohol i would never call the cops for hitting a deer, **** i wouldnt even call them sober.
4. take that home and chew it, thanks for playing, you're the weakest link good bye.

I was talking to a cop not that long ago, he said that if they get a call about a deer hit and its laying on the side of the road still alive, they usually go out make sure the driver is ok, then get the driver on the way so they are alone, then they put a bullet in the animals head. cruel, but what do you want then to do? there is no vet for wild animals in most areas. And he was telling me how he had to put 6 bullets in a deers head once to finally kill it.

It was actualy in the middle of 195. It was about 130am, dark as hell. I had to be doing upwards of 90mph, but in my Taurus
1- My speedo only went to 85
2- After I went over 20mph, the speedo would bounce around and I had more of a "range" of speed.
So I looked out and saw this darker thing in the darkness...and by the time I realized what it was, it was too late.
WHAM!!
I f'ed that punk ass bed liner UP!!

Hahaha, yes!! My ex's 93 Sable NEVER did that. My family has had 5 Tauri, and its the only car where that happend too.
I kinda miss that car. I miss having a car that I didnt have to care about. One that I washed when there was more bird crap then paint showing....when I changed my oil when the seasons changed....where steel belts were enough traction to whip myself around icy roads. Ahh...those were the days.
