Well, the prolly I would have for bringing the AMX on this tour is that it isn't going to be in a "finished" state. I would hate to ruin my chances for future coverage by unveiling it too soon. Believe me, it has been a lifelong dream of mine to have a car worthy of "full" coverage in the mags, and I'm getting too old to take a chance of screwing that dream up. N' just for the record, the T-Type ain't gonna be anything to sneeze at, 'specially once I finish up the "pro touring" suspension I'm working on...

what do you have left to get done on the AMX?
a pro touring t-type is a cool thing for sure, but it is still a much more common car than the AMX.
with how uncommon, strong running, cool looking, and just plain old bad ass sounding the AMX is i wouldn't even notice the ungrand national if they were sitting next to each other.
AMX = bad azz

Thanks for the props, but as far as "what I have left to get done on the AMX," well, for starters there is the matter of a somewhat legendary 32V 396 that needs to get built and installed, a whole new front suspension design that is still on the drawing board, a new interior that needs to be fabricated/installed, rear end work, a bunch of detailing, finishing up the "trans am series" paint job, etc. etc. It truly is a work in progress...
But hey, ya never know. If it comes down to driving the AMX or not going, I guess the AMX is coming out.

let me know what you need help with and i will be there.
maybe take the t-type to the power tour meet in '06 and concetrate efforts on having the AMX ready to rip for the long haul with us in '07.
to my way of thinking having the cooler car ready for the long haul is more important than what you bring to teh car show for one or 2 days.
