interesting, I havent really heard many complaints about TTP, but i guess youll have a few for any shop no matter what. however in TTPs defense, perhaps that wire was put there temporarily to test it when they installed it and then it was buttoned up like that unintentionally.
When i was there for dyno day, they seemed proffesional and very eager to please us. I even planned on buying a cam from them and having them install it, but i just happened to find a sweet deal elsewhere and i saved myself the install cost by doing it myself. But if i ever need work done, i would very much still consider talkign it there over any other place in the area. I also feel that if informed right away before making this whole thing public, Matt would have done the right thing and solved the problem sicne he is a true car guy(my friend knew him when he had a 57 chevy) and not just a "shop owner".

Why should he he even bother calling him about the wiring? Because that wiring job is not what I call professional!! Also, no disrespect to ttpmatt but that should have NEVER left the shop looking like that in the first place...Wow!! You were going to pick it up in an enclosed trailor shheww that makes it better why don't you give him a partial refund or some dyno time to make good on it... my .02 cents

Seems to me that it is a recent problem that spanned a couple of days which happened to be a good amount of time after the work was done. So a quick return call on it oviously wouldnt of happened. I cant say much about TTP due to the fact that i have never had work done there.

Guys, anyone wants quotes, etc. throw us a call. I'll be honest its hard for me to check every board all the time. If you want a response 973-365-2270. I'm here to please everyone, but I also do all the tuning, towing, and work in the shop myself. I do apologize about delayed responses but give me a call. Also, I usually keep the computer idle on ls1tech so I see PMs there. Not trying to take away from this great msg board, but Ill be honest

I don’t know TTP from STP, but the problem many of us see here is the attack on a shop (and site sponsor) without even giving the shop a chance to make good. If a ‘what’s wrong’ thread had been posted and it led back to TTP, or he got stuck and had another place fix it, and if TTP blew him off after he called, then fine. But a thread titled ‘Don’t go to TTP’ is rather inflammatory and without merit. JMO.
I was thinking about this at lunch. Remember this thread when you try to get regular auto service places (a dealer, STS, Goodyear, Sears, the corner garage, etc.) to do out of the norm stuff and they say ‘sorry, we don’t do that kind of stuff’. And why shops that do tailor to specialties should get every dollar they can. Because the aggravation-to-profit ratio for work like this is often way to out of whack.

Im sorry Matt, It's easy for me to say such hard things when I payed for a dyno spot and had to give it away for free, and then freese my balls off for 4 hours waiting for my ride to get finished dynoing. So sorry, no hard feelings?
