I've rebuilt my LT1 twice, rebuilt my LS1 once and then grenaded it. I haven't had any problems with my custom LS7 yet. You guys need to move on with the LT1 vs LS1 debate. The Gen IV is where it's at. Although I do have a reliable LQ4 in the pickup.

stock rear with 127k.... knock on wood
I like my LT1, fastest thing ive had yet, but to sell it just to get an LS1 car, aint worth my time.... unlessss its a 98+ WS6 TA. An upgrade to me would be an LS1 in a C5

Its not about which motor is better then any other, because at the end of the day whoever pours the most amount of money into anything will come out on top. Its about the obsurd claims of superiority without an ounce of fact.

^^^I know, I was just stirring the pot. But in truth, I really am so muched more impressed with the LSX's than I am with the LTX's. Not saying that my old LT1 was a slouch, because it wasn't. I put a lot of bruised wrench turning knuckles in that car until I sold it.

Yeah, they are rated at a whole 2mpg less than our cars. Wow, they suck.
LT1's also sound a lot like Gen1 sbc's since they have such similar heads and share the firing order, so I guess you think they all suck too?
You should really start reading up on things before you talk dude. You are making yourself look worse and worse every time you post.
The tone of an engine is an opinion thing, but it is obvious you don't know much about cars with some of the stupid crap that you are laying down here.

Ethics is a dull subject anyway, much more fun to rile up LS1 owners....
