So where is your proof that Zaino is crap? You seem to have a Zaino complex and snap every time somebody asks a question about it. I couldn't care less what brand wax/polish people use. I just used a bottle of 25 year old Turtle Wax on my truck 2 weeks ago. It was my grandfathers! The price sticker was $1.79 and the bottle was made of glass! I'm not about to waste decent wax/polish on my 18 year old truck with faded paint and no factory clear coat. And Rich's car looks great with the product he uses so why argue about it? We all have our favorite products and that's all that needs to be said.

and if you left it at that then we all would've been fine, instead you went and said that i dont know jack **** cuz im 20 year old jackass who hasnt tryed all the waxes out there....
why i say zaino is crap? because i havent seen a picture or seen a car in person that would justify spending 100+ on polish kit. pretty simple if you ask me.

well basically glaze fill in small swirls and give the "wet" look by filling your paint with beneficial oils ect basically correct steps to fully detail a car remove swirls ect is....
wash
clay
polish (using least abrasive first then more abrasive in problem areas)
glaze
wax or paint sealent (wax gives more depth to the glaze sealent just protects the paint and lasts longer then wax)
anyway i think u can find more info at properautocare.com they normally have some pretty cool detailing tips and info... so yea the pic u posted is glaze and the article shows the wrong pic and i know ur just goin by what u read
"well now you know and knowing is half the battle"
*edit* and i checked out the dudes 11.500 dollar car detail website go look at some of the pics the shine on some of the cars isnt as good as mine much less some of the other cars i've seen so imo those products are just a way for rich guys to waste some money.... so if anyones got money to burn ill give you the same or better detail for 2500 = less then 25% the price of some british prick doing it

that right there would justify spending 100 on a KIT on zaino.com or what ever they sell indivigual products for about the same price as regular polish. so once again your wrong.
ive said it once and ill say it again, your car isnt nice or glossy ive seen it in pictures and in person...

that cardomain pic car is an ugly ass color IMO, i think his time and money w/zaino should have been put towards a color change haha
and Tsar, is it bad that i really want to buy the $7k "glaze"? lol free refills would rock, i'd do everyones car for like $100, same price as zaino, BUT better...so after doing 70 cars, like a car a week for a little over a year...it'd be paid off... lmao

Man, did this thread go to ****. Name calling and judgement based on opinions.
Hey, how about we do it like every other forum and have other threads like this one, about:
1.) Oil and filters
2.) Tires
3.) Shocks
4.) Brake upgrades
Everybody has their own way with this stuff. There are multiple ways to skin a cat.
I've used Zaino and it works well. With proper application a car can look stunningly good. However, it's got such a huge following that people lose sight of the fact that other things can work equally as well if not better.

As long as you keep the surface lubed(soapy water) and wipe it off right away and re-wash the car when your done it will be fine.
Light pressure on the clay, if it does not move easy, spray more soapy water.
If the paint is in good condition, you should be able to glide your hand over the paint and will feel smooth.
If you garage the car do it once a year, if its exposed to the elements 2-3 times a year.

I doubt it, one last picture. My WS6 has won more trophies and was in a few Magazines, even Sal Zaino said it was one of the best Black cars he has seen.
Check it out in full size.
