NP. Pricing hasnt been announced, but Id say the coupe will probably get the 3.6DI motor standard and only engine outside of the V. Price could start between 34-40k.

Interesting, according to this V6 Challenger is lighter than the V6 Camaro, and R/T is only slightly heavier than the SS.
Interesting...

After seeing all the new photos, I still can't get over how bad the back of the car looks, like the designers took a vacation and let the janitor draw the rear. Good looking over all, just think they could have put more effort into the back.

You kiddin me? I love the back end!!
Very angular, very muscular, I like the black defuser built into the bottom of the skirt there. The tail lights look very sharp, a little throw back to the 70-73 circle tail lights.
But Im just a crazy nut hugger.
Oh, and according to edmunds...3720 is the weight of the Challenger SE, 30lbs lighter then Camaro LS. Camaro also has a larger 6spd manual and automatic transmission.
http://www.edmunds.com/new/2009/dodg...244/specs.html
Difference is that Camaro has 50 more hp in V6 trim
Camaro SS is 3860 with manual
Challenger RT is 4041 with manual
Challenger SRT8 is 4170 with 5spd auto
Camaro SS is 3913 with 6spd auto.
Camaro has weight and power advantage over RT, priced about the same
Camaro has weight and price advantage over SRT8, power about the same.

Both my mother and my girlfriend like it. For the girlfriend it's between new Audi TT, BMW 1, and now this. Personally, I think she will get the TT but we shall see.
If the v6 can be had for under 25k after all the dealer BS I will consider one too, however if it is close to 30, than no way; I already know what I want in that range.
Edit* I forgot to add that I already dismissed the challenger as the next possible car due to crappy transmission choices. I will not be switching from 6spd manual to a 4spd auto - that's asinine. Just waiting for the price now, and a job

V6 will probably be available for under 25k, its the RS package that makes it better...that might put you a bit over the 25k mark. But you get dubs!!
