If you're careful....and start a lil Creatine in the supplements you're taking, you'll see some benefit out of it. I saw it MORE when I was lifting HEAVY for less reps. I haven't been in the gym in quite some time now (and it sucks)....but since you have a good schedule going, stick with it. If you're looking to just add on the size, now is the time to start eating 'cleaner' and putting in more chicken and some lean meats....eggs....tuna....just to change up the protein you're taking in.
How many grams are you taking per day ? And how often ??

i eat protein all day my dad is more into that than i am but i love tuna. i am eating some now lol its 37 grams n i have protein bars i am about to eat but every couple hrs i eat protein. they say the average body takes in 50 grams like every 3 hrs or something like that so i normaly have 57 grams every 3 hrs. i have 2 big bags of EAS protein powder my dad uses that i dont like it. i dont ever want to stop unless it kills me working out.

Well, I'm back to working out 6 days a week now, which is fun. I'm thinking about using a new training method. My old training method being, 3 sets 10x8x6 with increasing weight. Fun pyramid, picked it up while training for football and have kept it ever since. Works great but looking to try something different.
While researching bb.com articles, I came across two methods I like.
The reverse pyramid. I figure 3 sets 8x10x12 would be a great starting point.
The second one is, what they call, Hypertrophy-Specific Training. It looks pretty badass.
Kinda scientific-y and its long three days a week, so I guess I could use those extra days off to do homework.
Anyone have any experience with these two methods?

Interesting read to say the least.
I found VAST improvement from hardly lifting to jumping right into 6-7 days a week for about 4 months, then going to 5-6 days a week, and was using the up pyramid. Then when we did arms we'd do a BIG pyramid til failure x 2 or 3
I saw gains from that and the 'overuse' (as I now know it as) of creatine. I was really pushing water then, and upped my protein intake and threw in cardio now and then. I got to the point where I 'impressed' the guys I was working out with. Now....not so much...lol.
I did change up to doing more weight on machines and the 8-6-6(4) reps and pushed my workout (3-4 exercises per group/1 group a day) in 30-45 minutes. Helped since I didn't have much time anymore....

Nope. I do the Bill Starr 5x5. It's not for those that want beach muscles or to get ripped- it's a program to get you lifting for power. Lot of room for injury, though.

i have been lifting 6 days a week now for about a steady 6 months. I have noticed some pretty decent gains and alot of ppl noticed them as well. I started by loosing 18 pounds i'm down to 159 lbs now still wanna loose another 5 or 8 pounds and i have increased my lifting weight quiet a bit. I go to achieve 24 hour fitness on mainstreet in Hackettstown it's 42 a month i believe great gym.

Bring it back!
I remember someone saying something about animal Pak and stacks. I'm taking them right now, and I must say, it really makes your urine a nice, day-glow yellow no matter how much water you drink.
Time to start hitting the gym, and get a head start on your New Years Resolution to get in shape.

Not trying to be a dick, but F GNC. Their stuff is overpriced even on gold card days.
Puritan's Pride Daily 3 broad spectrum are the best per dollar from what I've seen. And it has the required riboflavin to make your pee glow in the dark if that's what you need.

At buy 2 get 3 free that's 13.91 a bottle, a total of 500 pills. And they are loaded with stuff that isn't included in the GNC pills.
Obviously do whatever you want, I just thought I'd offer an alternative to those who are interested.
