450/450 + 7spd manual....nice

IMO it looks good from the front, great from the side, and like crap from the back. Can't possibly imagine who thought it was a good idea to put 4 year old tail lights on the all-new awesome flagship car. I certainly didn't expect 4 perfectly round tail lights or even something too similar looking to the C6 tails, but I really hoped that the lights would be much different than all the renders we have seen.

Did GM buy Lotus again, or am I missing something here. Not sure why they unveiled an Evora, yet they keep saying Corvette.

Really like the car except for the rear. I was hoping real shots would make it look better from the back. The performance should be outstanding. It's prob good I don't drive one lol.

It's the rear for me as well, but I'm sure in black paint, it will look more subtle.

I actually think it looks a little more bearable in the red....even with the surrounds the tail lights don't stick out as much.

Black might tone down the entire back more though.

I came back in here to say this, but it could just be because the picture in red that I saw was not shot directly from the back and was at an angle where I could see the rear and sides.

I like it a lot.

can't wait to judge it in person.

you can see where they went from the c5 into the c6 but not so much into the c7

regardless I'm liking it. can't wait to see the z06 and zr1 if they make it to them

My FB news feed is all clogged up with pics of this... Do I care? Not really - but it beats every football post that all my relatives are going nuts over.

hmm not sure how I feel about it overall. The only aspect that makes me question is the back. The drivetrain sounds pretty sweet though, as well as the front appearance.

Going by the great scale of NJFBOA, should be a huge hit. Looks great in person. Rear is busy, but functional. Lots of big tech in the car that you guys are going to love.

Funny you mention the Aztec. Tom Peters designed that, the C6, and the C7. He is charge of all GM performance design.

Here are some live shots.

Last time I checked, there isn't a shortage of 50+ year olds going through mid life crisis, so looks like there is still a market profitable enough to keep the Corvette in production.
