I have automatic transmission from 91 v6 camaro. will this same automatic transmission work with a 305 or 350 from the same year?

Thanks

I'm almost positive the bolt pattern of a v6 4-speed is different from a v8 transmission. So It will most likely not bolt up 100%

are you sure? TAs/Z28s/v6 camaros/v6 firebirds...i thought they all got the same 700r4 transmission setup. I thought the only real difference was the rear, set up to overcome the lack of power that the old 2.8s made.

they are all 700r4's, but teh 6cyl cars used a bolt pattern similar to the older buick/olds/pontiac pattern. internally they are the same as well, only changes to the governor weights and springs were made to control shift points.

bellhousing is an inch shorter on the v6 trans, bolt pattern doesnt really matter. it wont bolt up and there is no way to make it.
